Taking place the weekend prior to the main event, this gathering assists young entrepreneurs and their support teams, including family, mentors, and grandparents, in getting their lemonade stands up and running efficiently. Parents can register their children for Lemonade Day during the Big Squeeze, collect their t-shirts, and purchase supplies for their stands. Lemi the Lemonhead will be there to meet the kids and sign autographs.

Additionally, the Lubbock Health Department will be present to issue Health permits for those entrepreneurs planning to serve hot food. Stands offering menu items like hot dogs, hamburgers, or brisket wraps can obtain their permits at the event or by filling out the application available on the Lemonade Day website.
